　　In February 23, 2004, Yihua silk embroidered fashion (Hangzhou) Co. No. 3142006th "Eurostreet" trademark application for registration by the Trademark Bureau decided to reject ZC3142006BH1 notice of dismissal, fangtao intellectual property agency review.

 

　　Reason for rejection and review opinions: the Trademark Bureau after examination that the trademark is used in the service project, only directly showing the contents and characteristics of service and so on the basis of the "trademark law" Eleventh paragraph (2) shall be rejected. The applicant thinks that the English pronunciation of the rejected trademark is easily blurted out by the audience. It has distinctive features and can be distinguished from other trademarks. Importantly, the trademark just implies the applicant's service and does not necessarily relate to the specified service. Therefore, in combination with the analysis, it is not merely a direct indication of the characteristics of the service. It clearly does not violate the prohibition clause in the trademark law and should not be rejected.

 

　　In August 6, 2007, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board made a decision on the review of [2007] 5017th, which supported the applicant's reasons for re examination. The No. 3142006th "Eurostreet" trademark was preliminarily approved.
